Automotive HVLP Spray Gun

1) According to the operation mode, it can be divided into manual paint spray gun and automatic paint spray gun.

2) According to the transportation method, it can be divided into gravity type, suction type (also called siphon type), and pressure feeding type.

2.1 Gravity type:
Advantages: less material consumption, color change, and easy cleaning;
Disadvantages: The paint flow rate is too small and the stability is poor;
Application: multi-color sample spraying in laboratory; spraying of two-component paint with fast curing speed; small workpieces and touch-up paint;

2.2 Suction type:
Advantages: good operational stability, easy to change paint color; can be sprayed continuously without the need to add paint frequently (replace with paint bucket);
Disadvantages: The spray volume changes greatly when the viscosity of the paint is different; the horizontal surface spray gun is more difficult;
Application: Steel drum industry is widely used;

2.3 Pressure feeding type:
Advantages: The paint pump is used to supply materials; the spray is even and fine; it is not restricted by the direction of spray painting;
Disadvantages: Cleaning is complicated;
Application: Spray coatings with high viscosity; used in intermittent, continuous spraying on workpieces or on coating lines;

Comparison of three different spray paint guns from the atomization effect: pressure feeding type > gravity type > suction type.

3) Products for special purposes:

3.1 Airbrush: suitable for advertising, painting and other occasions;
3.2 Spray gun and random thread gun; suitable for furniture, bicycle and other industries;
3.3 Two-component spray gun (double-port spray gun): suitable for two-component coatings such as unsaturated polyester;
3.4 Imitation stone paint spray gun: spray imitation stone paint for building decoration;
3.5 High-flow low-pressure paint spray gun (HVLP): suitable for spraying lower viscosity paints with a small amount of paint. HVLP technology is a very common spray coating method in North America.
